Pools & Pool Play Schedule | Championship & Consolation Brackets

Cal State Fullerton once again welcomes some of the nation's best collegiate softball teams in the nation to Southern California to compete in one of the nation's most prestigious tournaments.

Formerly known as the Kia Klassic, the inaugural Judi Garman Classic, named after the former Titan Hall of Fame Head Softball Coach and widely regarded as the premiere mid-season collegiate tournament in the country, will be held at Anderson Field on Wednesday, March 15, to Sunday (March 19).

The tournament features 16 teams meeting face-to-face in a three-day pool play format consisting of four pools of four teams each. Results from pool play will seed a pair of eight-team championship brackets with two winners crowned on "Championship Sunday" at 1:30 p.m.

Former NCAA Champions Oklahoma, Fresno State, and Arizona, along with 2005 National Champion Michigan will compete in this year's event, along with several other top-ranked squads from across the country, including Alabama, Washington, Louisiana-Lafayette, Texas, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Arizona State.

Former tournament champions Arizona, Fresno State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Oklahoma, Arizona State, Washington, and 2005 champion Michigan, will compete along with the host Titans for this year's title.

Championship and consolation bracket play begins on Saturday morning (March 18) at 9 a.m. on both fields with the tournament semifinals and finals beginning on Sunday morning (March 19) at 8:30 a.m. A PDF that includes both championship and consolation brackets will be available for download and posted here as soon as it is available.
