FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton junior defender Jenae Gibbens continued to add awards and accolades to what is quickly becoming a very crowded mantlepiece, earning a spot on the Soccer Buzz All-West Region Second Team on Friday.

Earlier this week, Gibbens earned third-team all-region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America to go with her Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors and all-conference first-team laurels that were bestowed upon her in November.

Gibbens finished the 2007 season with four goals and two assists to rank tied for fourth on the team in scoring. She also led a Fullerton defense that held 10 opponents to fewer than 10 shots in a match and helped the Titans to a share of the Big West Conference regular season title and the program's third consecutive Big West Tournament crown.

Fullerton finished the year 12-8-2 overall and 6-2 in the Big West, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight season and the fourth time overall.

Gibbens was one of only two Big West players selected to the all-region teams, joining Long Beach State midfielder Hayley Bolt, who joined Gibbens on the second team.
