CAL STATE FULLERTON
2004 (JUNIOR): Started all 15 matches she appeared in... one of two Titan defenders (Vanessa Valentine) to score a goal, notching the game-winner against Northern Colorado (9.24)... also assisted on the game-winner (a goal by Valentine) in OT at UC Irvine (10.31) to clinch a share of the league title... centerpiece of a defense that set school records for fewest goals allowed (18), fewest shots allowed (183), and tied the record with most shutouts in a single season (8).
SUMMER 2004: Competed with the Mexican National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece... helped Mexico to the quarterfinal round after a 1-1 tie with China and a 2-0 loss to defending World Cup Champion Germany to place second in Group F.
2003 (SOPHOMORE): Had her best offensive year as a sophomore, scoring two goals and three assists to finish fourth on the team in scoring... Appeared in 18 matches, making 16 starts, en route to All-Big West Second Team honors... Both of her goals came in the season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson... tallied assists against Oregon, Cal State Northridge and Long Beach State.
SUMMER 2003: Competed with the Mexican Women's National Team in their efforts to qualify for the 2003 Women's World Cup... Scored a goal in a 2-2 draw with Japan in qualifying play... won a bronze medal with Mexico at the 2003 Pan American games in the Dominican Republic.
2002 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 16 of the Titans' 18 matches, making 15 starts... named to the All-Big West Conference honorable mention squad... notched her first career goal, and game-winner, in a 4-0 rout of San Diego State... was a key part of the Titan defense which held opponents to a school record-low 21 goals on the year... missed two games competing for the Mexican Women's National Team in Gold Cup action, scoring a goal against Panama in a 5-1 victory for Mexico.
SUMMER 2002: Competed with the Mexican Women's U-19 National Team at the Youth World Cup in Canada.

A three-year varsity soccer player at Valencia HS, Sandoval also played three years of varsity volleyball and was a three-year varsity letterwinner in track... did not play sports as a senior... a two-time first-team all-league selection, a two-time league MVP and a two-time All-CIF selection as a sophomore and junior... she was also a two-time all-league selection and an All-CIF selection in volleyball.
