FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton head women's gymnastics coach Jill Hicks announced Tuesday that Taylor Kearns has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her gymnastics career with the Titans beginning with the 2008-09 season.

"We are extremely excited to have signed Taylor to our program. She is an accomplished Level 10 gymnast with several years of national experience," Hicks said. "We anticipate Taylor will compete in the all-around right away for us. She has the talent to impact our team by keeping us moving towards our goal of qualifying for regionals."

Kearns competed for the Southern California Elite Gymnastics Academy (SCEGA) in Temecula, Calif., where she qualified for Level 10 Nationals from 2003-06. She was the Level 10 regional floor champion and state beam champion in 2006 while also winning the state title on bars in 2003.

A Level 9 National qualifier in 2002, Kearns also won Level 8 regional and state titles on bars in 2001 and was the Level 7 state bars and all-around champion in 2000.
