Two Out-of-State Gymnasts Become Titans

Fullerton, Calif. - Two out-of-state gymnasts have signed national letters of intent to continue their gymnastics careers at Cal State Fullerton. Both will compete for the Titans in 2007-08.

Alaina Baker is from Oak Grove, Missouri, where she attends Oak Grove High School and competed for a club team called GAGE. She recently competed at the Junior Olympics Level 10 nationals where she placed fourth on vault (9.625) and ninth on floor exercise (9.625). Her all-around score was 37.625, placing her 14th.

Michellee Cooper is from South Jordan, Utah, where she attends Waterford School. She was the 2006 Utah state all-around, vault and floor exercise champion. In 2004 she competed in the Junior Olympic Nationals.
