No. 10-Ranked Oregon State Outscores Titans
Feb. 29, 2008 Fullerton, Calif. - Jami Lanz won three events and the all-around Friday night to lead No. 10-ranked Oregon State to a 196.375-193.100 women's gymnastics victory over Cal State Fullerton. Lanz won the uneven parallel bars with a 9.85, the balance beam with a 9.95 and the floor exercise with a 9.875 on her way to an all-around score of 39.475. Fullerton was paced by Alaina Baker, who scored 38.575 as runnerup in the all-around. Baker and teammate Britni Echeverria tied for second on bars with personal bests of 9.825. Fullerton's team score was its third best of the season and it was fourth best for the Beavers, who compete at No. 9-ranked UCLA on Sunday.
