Versatile Ray Reed will likely split time between point and shooting guard for his senior season at Cal State Fullerton... Started all but one game last year next to Bobby Brown but could help fill his shoes at the point guard position this season... His next-to-last game at Georgetown was against Cal State Fullerton in the second round of the 2005 post-season NIT.

CSF IN 2006-07: Helped Titans get off to a fast start, carrying a lot of the offensive burden in the early portions of the season... Played in all 30 games and started 29 of them... Averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists... Averaged 17.2 points for the first five games of the season and 5.7 ppg the balance of the campaign... Was second in the Big West Conference with 1.70 steals per game and was the Titans' best back-court defender... Had highs of 23 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists, all against Hope International on Nov. 14, just missing the second triple-double in school Div. I history.

GEORGETOWN: Two-year letterman at Georgetown for Coaches Craig Esherick as a freshman and John Thompson, Jr., as a sophomore... Played in all but two of the Hoyas' games in his career, averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists while playing about 15 minutes per game off the bench... The 2004-05 team was 20-13 and advanced to the third-round of the NIT before losing at South Carolina, the eventual champion... His best games were 10 points vs. Villanova and 10 points and 4 rebounds vs. San Jose State... As a freshman he had highs of 14 points vs. Penn State and Coastal Carolina in a 13-15 season... He had highs of 6 assists vs. Howard on Dec. 30, 2004, and 6 rebounds vs. St. John's on Jan. 20, 2004.

INGLEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterman at Inglewood High School... As a senior for Coach Pat Roy was CIF Southern Section and South Bay player of the year... Averaged 25 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals... As a junior was league player of the year for the Sentinels, who were ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation by USA Today and advanced to the CIF Div. II-AA semifinals... As a sophomore he was co-player of the year.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 4, 1984, in Los Angeles... Mother is Lou Rhonda Brown of Hawthorne... Father Nick Reed is deceased... Communications major... Goal is to play in the NBA... Most memorable sports thrills are playing in Madison Square Garden and dunking on Amare Stoudemire... Credits Coach Larry Mitchell for the most influence on his basketball career... Played travel ball for the Souhern California All-Stars... Full name is Rayshawn but nickname is "Ray Ray."
