Marcus Crenshaw more than lived up to his billing as an explosive scorer with range in his first season with the Titans in 2006-07... Played mostly the shooting guard spot but saw some duty at point behind or with Bobby Brown and will probably see more minutes there this season... Good decision-maker...Crowd favorite for his high-arching shots from the 3-point line and beyond.

CSF IN 2006-07: Was an impact player for the Titans after sitting out a year as a student at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, Michigan... Started first three games of the season for a short-handed roster and averaged 18 points and 4.7 assists... Came off the bench the balance of the season and was chosen "sixth man of the year" by rival Big West Conference coaches... Averaged 11.4 points for the season and 2.3 assists... Had highs of 23 points vs. UCSB on Feb. 22 and twice made six 3-point field goals... Led the Big West Conference with 83 3-point field goals, the third best single-season total in CSF history.

KENT STATE: Averaged 4.7 points and 1.1 assists while playing point guard in all 33 games for Kent State in 2004-05... The Golden Flashes (including current Fullerton teammate Scott Cutley) went 20-13 and gained the post-season NIT.... Marcus shot 36 percent from the floor and 35 percent (32 of 92) from 3-point range... Played about 15 minutes per game in a half-court oriented attack... Highest scoring game was 13-point effort at Ball State... Had 12 points in collegiate debut vs. Binghamton... Had 5 assists vs. Marshall.

MACKENZIE HIGH SCHOOL: Led the state of Michigan in scoring as a junior when he averaged 29.4 points per game... Also averaged 7 assists... As a senior he averaged 24 points with a state-best 11 assists per game for Coach Verias Jordan... First-team Class A all-state selection as a senior and third-team pick as a junior... Made All-Detroit team three years... Also played one season of football at wide receiver.

PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 27, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan... Parents are Michael and Laura Crenshaw of Detroit... Has two brothers, Jimmie Sanders and Michael Bland... Afro-ethnic studies major... Played in 2006 Summer league in Detroit and was on the championship team with players such as Lindsey Hunter of the Detroit Pistons, Ira Newble and Robert Traylor of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Maurice Taylor of the New York Knicks... Enjoys telling jokes and making music... Credits Coaches Jake Boyd and Marvin Bryant for most influence on his basketball career: "They taught me the game and how to play it physically and mentally"... Nickname is "Da Problem."
