TITANS `05: He hit .343 in 54 games for the Titans', making 25 starts mainly in center field, platooning with Bobby Andrews • Sported a six-game hitting streak from Mar. 5 to Mar. 13, going 7-for-12 (.583) over that stretch • Collected eight multi-hit games, including two in which he knocked three against UC Santa Barbara (May 1) and Pepperdine (May 10) • On May 10 vs. Pepperdine, he also collected a career-high five RBI, finishing 3-for-3 with a home run and his first career triple in the Titans' 13-4 victory • Hit his first career homer on Mar. 13 against the then No. 1 Tulane Green Wave • Made no errors in the outfield in 61 chances.

TITANS `04: Appeared in 33 games, making a pair of starts in the outfield • Hit .158 on the season, collecting his first career hit against Pacific on Apr. 8 • Used mostly as a pinch-runner for the Titans as a freshman, Tripp scored 13 runs on the season, including a career-best two runs against LMU (Apr. 13) and Cal Poly (May 1) • Scored the game-tying run on a wild pitch in the national championship-clinching game against Texas and scored the tying run on a Ronnie Prettyman single in the Titans' 2-1 extra-inning victory over Long Beach State on May 21.

LOS ALAMITOS H.S.: A four-year starter in baseball and football • Named first-team all-league three years in baseball, as well as team MVP his senior year • Led football team to CIF championship while being named Sunset League MVP and first-team All-CIF as a wide receiver.
