RIVERSIDE CC: Played two years at Riverside College for Head Coach Dennis Rogers • Hit .253 with 22 RBI in 49 games for the Tigers in 2007 and .273 with 20 RBI in 45 games as a freshman in 2006.

COLONY HS: Played two varsity seasons for Head Coach Mike Sweeny, Sr., at Colony High School in Ontario, Calif. • Was a two-way player for the Titans, going 9-2 with a 1.83 ERA with a .390 batting average as a junior, and 8-1, 1.24 ERA and a .404 batting average as a senior • Was a two-time first-team All-Mt. Baldy League honoree • Was named the league's most valuable player, and was selected to the All-CIF and All-San Bernardino County first teams as a senior • Was the Mt. Baldy League Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2005.
